There has been a pharmacy here at our Gray Street address since the turn of the 19th Century, and we became R.S.McPherson Pharmacy in April 1974. It has constantly changed shape, layout and even colour since then, keeping up with the demands of being a busy pharmacy. The most recent change has been the takeover of the business in June 2018 by Davidsons Chemists, a local company established in 1897 with sound principles of knowledge, professionalism and care which are the driving forces to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and patient care across their branches. We have continued as McPherson Pharmacy as it holds an iconic presence in Broughty Ferry and carries with it an excellent reputation for high quality and iconic luxury gift, skincare and fragrance ranges. As a pharmacy we are at the heart of your community and strive to provide excellent pharmaceutical care and are making community pharmacy your first port of call.

Grainne Macgregor MRPharmS
Pharmacist Branch Manager – McPherson Pharmacy
Originally from Northern Ireland, Grainne relocated to Scotland after graduating from Queen’s University Belfast to accept a Relief Pharmacist position in Dundee. Following on from this she worked as a Pharmacist Manager for a number of years as well as gaining experience in GP practice before joining the team at McPhersons in November 2017. Grainne also went on to complete her Independent prescribing qualification at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and now runs a Chronic Pain clinic from within two local GP practices, as well as common clinical conditions prescribing for our patients at McPhersons. Grainne is passionate about patient care and strives to maintain the high level of service that McPhersons has always been known for.
